Step 1

This first step involved spraying water from a bottle onto a wet, black, glass table which was set outside on a cloudy day.

The resulting photographs had too much reflection for what I wanted.

To combat the issues in Step 1, a bowl filled with water was set up indoors and the same spray bottle used to create ripples.

Whilst the reflections were reduced, the photos were very light in colour and the bottom of the bowl could clearly be seen, along with any debris and dust in the water

The final step was to make the water darker using black food dye so that reflections were further reduced and the bottom of the bowl was disguised
